Open Streamate
Navigate to Streamate in a supported desktop browser and let the player finish loading.
Save accessible Streamate media as local MP4 files with a private browser workflow built for deliberate personal archiving.
Streamate pages are designed for in-browser viewing, not dependable offline reference. A live page can end, sources can rotate, and a page that loads cleanly today may not expose the same playable media later. Streamate Downloader gives adults a focused way to save permitted, browser-accessible media as local MP4 files without sending the content through a third-party converter.
Open Streamate in a supported desktop browser, let the player initialize, and click the extension when the media you are allowed to view is active. The downloader checks the current tab for compatible Streamate sources, lists available quality options when they are exposed, and saves the selected capture through the browser download flow.
The workflow is intentionally narrow and manual: one current page, one user-started save, and a standard MP4 file when a compatible source is available. It is not a bypass tool and does not unlock private, restricted, removed, encrypted, or otherwise inaccessible material. Access remains governed by Streamate, your account state, and your active browser session.
Privacy stays on your device. Detection, capture, and MP4 assembly run locally in the browser, while completed files are written to your download location. The extension does not upload media to a cloud workspace, relay server, or conversion API.
Streamate Downloader supports Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Opera, Whale, and Yandex on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Three free downloads are included so you can confirm compatibility with your browser setup before continuing with the $9 standard adult plan.
No command line, no screen recording, and no extra workflow outside your browser.
Navigate to Streamate in a supported desktop browser and let the player finish loading.
Open the Streamate Downloader popup to scan the active tab for compatible media sources.
Select the exposed quality or source when the current page provides a supported stream.
The extension processes the capture locally and writes the finished MP4 to your device.
Short, practical feedback from people using Streamate Downloader in real workflows.
The extension kept the process clear: open the page, let the player load, and save the compatible source locally.

I wanted a private browser save instead of a converter site. The local MP4 workflow is exactly what I needed.
