When your browser session exposes a compatible source, the extension presents a direct download option without screen recording, command-line utilities, or separate converter websites.
The extension is built for intentional one-video downloads. It scans only the active tab, uses available page details for filenames when possible, and saves completed captures as standard MP4 files for ordinary media players. Removed pages, unsupported embeds, DRM-protected streams, and content outside your permissions remain unavailable.
